Rapid antigen tests are a screening tool for COVID-19 in our office.

Our office tests all staff members weekly with rapid antigen testing. These tests detect specific protein antigens on the surface of the corona virus and can identify people at the peak of infection when virus levels are high.   In general, the advantage of the antigen test is being able to rapidly detect someone who is COVID positive and advise them on isolation precautions. A positive rapid antigen test result means you most likely have COVID-19. A molecular PCR test can confirm the diagnosis, as it is more accurate than the rapid antigen test.

We have limited quantities of these tests available for patients who are interested. Test results are available in approximately 10 minutes and are conducted on the same day as your scheduled appointment.  Due to the limited quantities, this service is only available for patients of our office.
