Dr. Sturm received his Bachelor of Science degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey in 1987.  He continued on to Boston University School of Dental Medicine and received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1991.  After practicing general dentistry in New Jersey for 6 years, he attended USC, where he completed a residency in endodontics.  He previously had been affiliated with USC as an associate professor for the endodontic department, and as a guest lecturer on endodontic emergencies, diagnosis and treatment planning. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontist and is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.  Dr. Sturm lives in Santa Barbara, with his wife Michelle, daughter Emma and son Jacob.

Riley and Dr. Sturm have performed thousands of root canal procedures together. Her easy going manner and friendly nature have made our patients feel extremely comfortable and well cared for.  Although Riley has spent her entire life in Santa Barbara, she has a serious love for country music!  She is planning to ultimately attend dental hygiene when she has completed her prerequiste courses.  

Christine, born and raised in Santa Barbara, has been with our office since 2022. After completing her dental assisting program, Christine began to gain experience in general dentistry. Once discovering an interest in specialized cases, she transitioned seamlessly into endodontics. Her enthusiasm for learning and attentive nature allows our patients a calm and comfortable experience. Christine plans to pursue her license in Dental Hygiene after completing her prerequisite courses. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, finding new hiking trails to spend quality time exploring.

Anais  was born and raised in beautiful Santa Barbara. She has been in the dental field for over 7 years, always motived and eager to help with anything that comes her way. Anais has a multitude of special skills, she's fluent in Spanish and knowledgeable with all things "Tech." In her free time, She enjoys travelling with her growing family and attending her local church.
